Amdocs doesn't care if you have the skills or not, all they care about is the number of years of experience you have. As much as I was excited to be a part of Amdocs, I was totally let down.
Step-1: Resume Shortlisting
Step-2: Technical Test (Basic Test regarding JavaScript, ES-6, React stuff) Extremely easy if you have used React enough, it's a cakewalk test.
Step-3: Got a call from HR - She confirmed the interview timings. Got another call 2 hrs later, she told me that she forgot to ask me for my details. She asked me how many years of experience I had, and I said I was a fresher with an internship experience of 6 months. There was a sudden change in her voice, and she said, "We are only looking for candidates with experience."
I mean, why was I shortlisted for the test? Why would you waste my time for the test when you were not looking for someone who had no experience? Didn't they had my Resume to check the required details, why call me again to confirm about details?
AND
They had a test in place to check a candidate's skills, and how can you reject someone who cleared the test just because of experience?
It simply means,
AMDOCS DOESNT CARE ABOUT SKILLS, ALL THEY NEED IS EXPERIENCE FROM YOU!
