I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2020
Interview
- 1st telephone interview (around 45 - 50 min). It was basically about my CV and some easy questions about my soft skills
-2nd part Panel interview through Amazon chime. 3 people each 30 min. 2 Operations Managers and 1 General Manager. They asked me about concrete examples for the Leadership principles. The bar raiser and me had a "role play". He was a worker who was not motivated/ had physical problems . I had to manage the situation.
-3rd final part. Interview onsite with 1 operations manager. Same as 2nd interview, though this interview was somehow more difficult. I got asked 2 or more examples for 1 situation. So prepare several examples specially for situations where you failed/ a problem happened / you were not able to stay during timeline...
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Describe an example in wich your idea wasn't implemented? (while working in a team)
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
