I was contacted by a recruiter to apply to a PM position at Amaya. They mentioned the importance of BA skills for this company. After I agreed I had a phone screening with the manager of the department, where he asked about my experience in general and details about my BA experience. The next step was Business Analyst test assignment which is to create a BRD from a high-level requirements list (1 page) so that developers can start cresting a technical spec from it. I had 3 hours for the task and during the first hour I could ask questions via email. My results were not enough and they did not proceed with me. Not even one question was asked about my PM skills/experience, although I applied on an PM position.
