I went through several rounds of interviews for a regional CS analyst role. The process was structured but ended up being quite lengthy (six rounds total were planned). I completed three interviews with HR, the hiring manager, and one panel member. The total time that took from application submission to hearing the result of the third interview was 2 full months and I had to follow up with the HR poc every time. If successful, there would have been additional panel interviews, a presentation, and a final discussion with a director.
The interviewers themselves were professional and thoughtful, and I appreciated their follow-up questions to clarify my answers. However, communication from HR was inconsistent and at times confusing. I received an email suggesting the role had moved locations and was closed to my region, only to later learn that wasn’t the full picture. It gave the impression that the process wasn’t very well coordinated.
Overall, the interviews themselves were positive, but the experience could have been much better with clearer, more transparent communication and respect for the candidate’s time.
