      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (Singapore) in Feb 2024

      Interview

Totally 5 rounds,1st round HR call,2nd round china hiring manager(in chinese),3rd china regulatory associate colleague(in chinese),4th round singapore Regulatory Response Coordinator(in english),5th round core value interview(I cant reach this round),123 its OK,they are very friendly and Introduce the position details(cos this position job description said very blur),its like a customer service escalation position not related to management position, its not necessary for you to waste so many rounds and take so long time(over 1 month the whole process)but 4th round the manager ask so many questions about the projects seems he have so many projects waiting for you to do it,like how to handle a vague project in 2 weeks(dont know why give your subordinate a vague project and let him do it himself)how to make sure your colleagues understand the complex issue,I answer simplify the complex issue and after meeting we have a test,we can have another meeting to illustrate the complex issue, the interviewer still ask how you make sure they understand it.He had running nose during the whole interview so can heard his sniffing the whole time. He mention that this position 60% of the time is doing the escalation cases but 40% of the time is doing the various projects(maybe they like can do various projects talent)The whole interview process is about meeting all sorts of different people who ask the questions they want to ask, but you don't really know if there's any communication between them, so there's a chance that you'll be asked the same introductions and questions twice. Most of the questions are situational questions and the situations are not detailed or provide any guidance.Interestingly, when asking the manager what impressed him about the process of dealing with cases, he said that a lot of claims are bluffs, whether you are a tenant or a landlord, a lot of the terms and conditions are already communicated to you on their platform before you move in or before you place an order, you just don't read them carefully or look at them, and you can see that they basically de-escalate themselves to dealing with whatever you encounter on the platform Problems. So it’s not surprising that there are many dissatisfied tenants or landlords on the platform.
