I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Beverly Hills, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
I met a recruiter at a career fair who expressed interest in me and told me I would make a great fit for the job. I came in the following week for an interview to find out that it was a group interview with about 10 other people. A sales agent came in and gave us a two hour presentation on the job. He didn't do any actual "interviewing" of us. Afterwards we got in line to schedule a subsequent interview. I was given the impression that they hire just about anyone. I decided to decline the offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was no actual "interviewing" done in the first session that I attended. He did ask us if we had large networks of family and friends who would be in need of insurance.
Group interview for the first one. It’s 100% commission based but if you know your capabilities then I recommend going for it! If you are a self-starter, this is definitely for you.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aflac (Knoxville, TN) in Aug 2025
Interview
Pretty easy, they seem to take everyone. The office is set up a little strangely with Aflac decorations everywhere. They do a group interview first which is a big tipoff, then you will likely be invited back for a one on one.

There is a Virtual group setting with up to 20 candidates and cameras are mandatory. You must look at a presentation on video and theres a host that sums up the company background and position. Then you ask questions after about 20 minutes.
