When you show up for the interview the first thing you hear is that the job has mysteriously disappeared and does not exist anymore. Do not waste your time with staffing agencies.

      Data Entry Clerk Interview

      8 Nov 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek in Oct 2017

      Interview

Extremely inefficient. I honestly do not even believe this is a real company. I've been talking with these people for about a month, sent all the information they asked for, jumped through all their hoops, and they are so ridiculously inefficient that even though we started talking several weeks ago, they will not have me in the system in time to start Monday. They respond to emails very late with "Call me and I will answer that question", then they want to play phone tag. They cannot answer a question directly, and even if they want to I'm not sure anyone knows the answer. I stopped looking for work for nearly a month because after two interviews, an orientation, furnishing proof of "education" (they want to see PROOF of GED? Really??), and a drug test I thought this was a done deal. NOPE!!

      Question 1

Who cares about the questions, it doesn't matter. They'll say they want to work with you and then spin you around in circles for three weeks. You've already applied for the job which is how they got your information in the first place, they want you to apply again. Then they have to do background checks. Then you go to orientation, and then at the very last minute they want to do more background checks, except they aren't sure themselves of the process, won't respond to questions, send you around in circles, and take so long doing EVERYTHING that you won't be able to start on time. But no worries, they'll keep you on file for next year - when the entire process starts over again.
