      Manufacturing Engineer Interview

      5 Jul 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Deerfield, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Aerotek (Deerfield, IL)

      Interview

I was called for an on site interview following a brief 5 minute discussion regarding my application. I got there and met the recruiter and he started the interview right away. It was for about 15 minutes. I was later given a positive feedback after the interview and was said that i would be contacted for many opportunities in the Chicago, IL area. But, a week passed, a month passed and it is more than two months now. The recruiter doesn't respond to my calls and email. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!

      Manufacturing Engineer Interview

      27 Apr 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Lexington-Fayette, KY
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aerotek (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Mar 2015

      Interview

Short Phone Interview, easy. In Person Interview, easy, behavioral. Overly personal and specific. After researching negative reviews about the company I chose not to proceed with the process. Very personal specific questions about me that seemed overly probing and often entirely irrelevant to the "positions" they claimed to have. The lady who contacted me by phone told me I had to come in the very next day to do an in person interview. She literally called me 5 minutes after I sent her an email. So I managed to make room in my schedule, was there 20 minutes or so early, and she never even showed up. Another recruiter had to step in and do my interview. The receptionist was rude to me and the other candidates there, making me feel like it was my fault that the recruiter was over an hour late to our scheduled meeting (in the afternoon).
