      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (Lehi, UT) in May 2023

      Interview

Initial phone screen, then meeting with 4-5 different roles for about 30 minutes each. Product Managers, Program Managers, and Engineering Managers. It was all done remotely, but it was a couple years ago when people were still mostly WFH.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (Mumbai) in Jul 2024

      Interview

My experience with the interview process was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. The HR team initially outlined a three-round process: Technical round Technical & Managerial round Managerial round After successfully completing all three rounds, I received a call and email from HR detailing the offer. However, the offer matched my current salary, which was unreasonable given that I had clearly communicated my salary expectations well in advance. For the next week, HR and the hiring team provided numerous excuses for the delay in updating the salary figure. After multiple follow-ups, they introduced an additional requirement for two more rounds with the heads of departments, supposedly for salary approval. After a brief 15-minute interview, HR suddenly communicated that they could not move forward with my application. This was the first time I have encountered such bad faith from a company of Adobe's stature. They confirmed I had cleared all rounds, provided an initial offer, made me wait unnecessarily for an updated salary figure, introduced additional rounds, and then used these rounds as a pretext to reject my application. This experience suggests a lack of respect and transparency towards candidates, raising serious concerns about the company's hiring practices.

      Interview

The interview was fairly simple with very conversational and resume based questions. Although they expected to link all experience to program management. There were 2 managers interviewing me and it was easy.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Adobe (Yerevan, Yerevan)

      Interview

Effective communication and transparency are fundamental aspects of a professional hiring process, and this company failed miserably in those regards. I would advise future candidates to proceed with caution and be wary of the potential for false promises and unprofessional conduct. The whole process lasted 3 months. After each stage, I was given positive feedback. During my final interview, they literally said, "We're so impressed with your professional background," and "We definitely want to hire you, we want to see you as part of our team." These promising words filled me with optimism about my potential future with the company. Yet, after that conversation, they ghosted for a full two weeks. Concerned about the prolonged silence, I reached out to the recruiter to check the status of my application. The recruiter replied a week later and promised to get back to me by the mid-following week, mentioning that they were still in an ongoing decision-making process. However, the next day I learned from a friend that the company had already extended an offer to someone else, and that offer had been accepted. This revelation was not only disheartening but also deeply unprofessional and dishonest. Furthermore, the lack of empathy displayed during the rejection process added to my dismay. I received the rejection email well beyond the promised deadline. The day after, the Hiring Manager called me and mentioned, "I called to make sure that there was no politics in this decision." Isn't this simply a Freudian slip? She went on to explain that the company had decided to go with a more junior candidate to meet budgetary caps. This lack of empathy in their communication only underscored the company's disregard for candidates' time, feelings, and the importance of keeping promises. This review reflects my personal experience and the issues I encountered throughout the hiring process with this company.
