Completed the phone screening with one HR rep then moved onto the second phone screening with a current Sr. Manager. Interview went well and then was scheduled to have phone screening with the director of the team. A day before I was scheduled to interview with the director a different HR rep requested a quick phone call with me. During this call she told me that she didn’t feel like I was a fit for the position and tried to recommend a much lower position than the one I was interviewing for. This was quite insulting as they wholly wasted my time with the interview process. If I received positive feedback from everyone I interviewed with why would you then tell me I’m not qualified for the position a day before an interview with the director?
