Recruiter called me and said she had a position open and thought I would be the perfect candidate. I was surprised since I didnt really have that much experience related to the position she was referring to. I agreed to come in and interview with her the next day. I came in the next day and she showed me the job description and I didnt feel comfortable since I didnt recognize anything on the job summary. I agreed to go for the client interview anyway. A few days later I showed up at the Adecco office first and the recruiter was not there to take me to the client. The others in the office had no idea where I was to go or to who I was interviewing with. They tried to call my recruiter but she didnt answer. My interview time had past and still no recruiter. Several of the office staff were frantically calling all over to figure out who and where I was interviewing at. They finally figured it out 30 min later and took me to the interview. It was very unprofessional. It made me feel like I should have explained to the client what happened. I interviewed with the manager of the department and a senior associate. Just basic questions were asked about my resume and a brief explaination about the position. I was offered the position after a background check, drug screen, and a copy of my high school diploma was given.
