I completed the homework assignment and submitted it to HR, but I haven't heard back from them since. No feedback or emails. I am disappointed, because I spent plenty of time for the assignment. For me this situation acts like a brilliant sign of the culture inside the company.

Absolutely the worst recruiter experience in Montreal, Canada. I am not a fresher, I have interviewed at several companies, and this has by far been the worst experience. After the first round, the recruiter sent me an assessment, which was very easy. After I completed it, she completely ghosted me. Even after following up more than 20 times, there was no response, and I eventually received an automated rejection after two months. It was a total waste of time. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the hiring process. Recruiters who are this unresponsive add no value, and processes like this would be better off automated rather than leaving candidates in the dark.
