Interview
Grueling yet informative - starts with online questions, followed by a phone interview and then a 3-5 hour visit to the school to observe, do a demo lesson, and interview with a dean and the principal.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Achievement First (Brooklyn, NY)
Interview
Interview process was simple and expected coming fro Teach For America. The man who interviewed me called me in for a separate interview at a coffee shop with nobody else around. He proceeded to make me feel awful about myself and was very demeaning. I had wanted a job teaching art, they flew me to NY telling me that's what I would be interviewing for and then decided to surprise me saying I would be a founding teacher at new school that would be opening the next year as a Science teacher.
