I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at AT&T (Fayetteville, NC) in Jan 2012
Interview
First we had a teleconference. Then we went in for testing which took about 3 hours. If you passed she called within 24-48 hours to move on with the next steps and if you failed she email you. You have a 1:1 interview with hr. They make a job offer and you have the employment verification and background check along with a drug test you have to take atleast 48 hours after the employment offer.

Question 1
How have you handled tough situations in past jobs?
You may apply online and may receive an email to schedule a phone interview. With one of their human resource agents. It may be a third-party conpany until you pass a preliminary interview and advance to the next stage. The interview was brief and straightforward and one may be hired on the spot.
it was easy and fun to interview, with lots of questions but they made me feel welcomed. they touched based on everything i wanted to know about the role and all my expectations
Just like having a conversation. Basically asked about availability, working with others and independently, handling difficult customers and difficult situations, also how would you handle overcoming objection with sales and would that be a problem for you.
