Interview
Was a group interview,Was told we were supposed to travel nearly 80 miles each way daily to an open store for training in our own vehicles. I told them I had no license due to epilepsy .I ended up being turned down for supposedly not enough experience but I have over 20 years retail and grocery experience. Never knew you needed a license to drive to another town when you're applying to a job position IN TOWN.Maybe put that in your post
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Metairie, LA) in Jun 2026
Interview
Initial interview is a group interview with 20 plus people. There is a tour of the store, and an explanation of expectations and company history. There is a short meeting with hiring management for screening for 2nd interview.
Group interview, 7am. Took a brief tour of the store, manager asked questions throughout. Speak up and answer questions during the tour. Then pulled into offices separately for 10-15 minute interviews.
Not difficult at all. There is a two step interview process where the first one you meet with the manager and the second you meet with the general district manager.
