People who are truly passionate about coffee move on to better, specialty coffee shops. Not an ideal environment to build community -- the crux of why coffee shops exist. Unrealistic demands from District Managers to have meaningful and impactful interactions with every customer, yet execute tasks/take orders as fast as possible.
