What is a typical working day like at Publix?

base pay is $24 an hour, but the harder you work the more you make. I'm fairly new and make around $36 an hour. but can be a struggle to get more than 32 hours a week on a 4 day work week.

Too many managers to keep up with. Every closing shift, we had different closing duties depending on which one of the six closing managers was there that night. These responsibilities were dependent entirely on the managers opinion of what was important, not what we were trained to do.
