Pros
One of the biggest advantages of working at Ministry Brands is the people—both my team and our customers. I’m surrounded by supportive colleagues who truly care about each other and collaborate well, and I have the privilege of building meaningful relationships with the customers we serve. Every day, I feel like I’m making a difference by helping ministries better use our software to support their mission.
I also genuinely feel like I’m living my dream in this role. I have the opportunity to travel, connect with parishes, and teach others how to confidently use our tools. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the impact of that work firsthand.
My supervisor is very supportive and encourages a healthy work-life balance, which makes a huge difference. The PTO and flexibility around time off allow me to recharge and stay energized.
Even though I work remotely, the company does a great job creating connection through virtual town halls and fun events like magic shows, contests, and games. It helps bring us together and makes the remote environment feel more engaging.
On top of that, I really appreciate the employee recognition platform—it’s a great way to celebrate each other and earn fun rewards like company merchandise and gift cards.
Cons
One challenge of working at Ministry Brands is the shift toward virtual training. Prior to COVID, I was traveling about 50% of the time, which allowed for more in-person interaction and deeper engagement with customers. As more clients choose virtual training options, it can be harder to create the same level of connection and hands-on learning experience that naturally comes with being onsite. While virtual training is convenient and efficient, it doesn’t always provide the same energy and relationship-building opportunities as in-person sessions.
