Pros
You will get to work with some big name clients. Huge volume of work so you will get plenty of experience.
Cons
Ibex has a deceptively inviting recruitment process and a work culture that seems healthy on the surface. However, compensation for all roles is low across the board, overtime work is constant and often unpaid. The turnover rate is high. I have had nights where a client has made me stay up till 1AM to implement trivial changes to their website. I've had the Managing Director of the parent company call me on my personal phone at 4AM to ask me about a task, and then tell me to me wake up my co-worker so it gets completed. The turnover rate is high. Only 2 out of more than a dozen people I knew at the company are still working there. Did I mention the pay? It starts out low and stays low. Many developers made their ends meet with side gigs while I was there. Management will be nice to you, but when push comes to shove, they will milk as much work out of you as possible to meet deadlines on understaffed projects. Clients (especially local ones) are often rude as well and treat you like a grunt agency worker who has no off-time. Here's another incredible anecdote: during the catastrophic monsoon rains of 2020, while all of Karachi was flooded and without power, I had a client repeatedly messaging me for progress on a deadline. I barely had cell service and no ability to charge my electronics (as did most people). But work always comes first for ibex clients, even in the midst of a natural disaster. One final con, the workplace is very male dominated. You will experience a fair amount of conservative toxic masculinity (normal by Pakistani standards). If you are a progressive person, you will have a hard time fitting in.
