Today marks an exciting milestone for Verkada: we’ve raised $205 million to accelerate our growth as we build the operating system for the physical world. In 2016 we set out to modernize the world of physical security, starting with security cameras and an intuitive cloud-based platform. In the six short years since, we’ve expanded to include five additional product lines that help enterprises to protect and manage their people and assets; and since our last fundraise in January 2020, we’ve both quadrupled our customer count and our team size, and opened six new offices.
