While at work, she strives to lead with empathy, sincerity and fairness, finding that the best way to inspire others is to live your truth. UST again recognized as a Top Employer UST earned its second Enterprise-Wide Top Employer Certification from the Top Employers Institute (TEI), a global authority honoring excellence in people practices. This recognition is awarded exclusively to a select group of organizations that showcase consistent excellence in workplace practices across all key geographies where they operate, a testament to UST’s people-first practices. The global certification follows a series of regional certifications with UST being named a Top Employer in 10 countries - Mexico, UK, Philippines, US, Malaysia, India, Australia, Spain, Canada and Taiwan for 2026. The certification demonstrates our ability to create a high-performing workplace through data-driven people strategies, independent validation, and a clear focus on practices that drive business performance, employee engagement, and growth. UST has been repeatedly certified as a TEI top employer, also earning recognition in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. UST improved its overall TEI score from 96.15% to 97.32%, with every country showing positive movement. When benchmarked against all Top Employers, UST stands higher at 97.32% vs the global average of 86.15% and Industry IT average of 87.33%. UST scored a full 100% in 11 critical areas, including business and people strategy, leadership, digital HR, learning, and purpose & values.

Meet Jose Antonio Martinez Garcia, QA Senior Analyst, Architect I - Software Testing at UST. Born and raised in Madrid, Jose’s days are filled with work, family and his love for football and music. Fun fact: he’s a tenor in a choir, singing ancient and traditional music. When it comes to his work testing software for different tech companies, Jose finds a sense of calm in the structured process of ensuring applications function flawlessly. As he puts it, “My approach to testing software mirrors my approach to life. I like to break things down into manageable steps, to analyze and verify, to ensure everything is functioning as it should. It's a way of bringing order to chaos, of finding control in an unpredictable world.” Read more of Jose’s story here:

Outside of work, Jill also leads an extraordinary life – from kayaking to rescuing beagles to spending time with her family. In her own words, “I’m a bit of an enigma. I’m unique. I’m more interested in other people than in myself. I’m a giver—maybe to a fault. But I wake up with energy, and I believe the human mind can conquer anything if it wants to.” Read more of Jill’s story:
