Ireland's first-ever satellite is due to launch this year. EIRSAT-1 is history in the making and is being carried out by a highly skilled team at University College Dublin Centre for Space Research. As EIRSAT-1 is no bigger than a shoebox, space on board is at a premium. So, the team chose a Taoglas GPS/Galileo patch antenna with the best quality materials to give the best performance when going small.
