Rachel Pears, Associate Director – Responsible Business & Employment Counsel, has won the Inspiring Leader award at the 2025 Carers UK Awards. The award recognises individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership in driving awareness, inclusion, and tangible change for carers in the workplace.
Elizabeth Alibhai, Partner and Head of Real Estate at RPC, has been named Leader of the Year – Financial and Professional Services at the Inspiring Women in Property Awards 2025.

The firm was named a winner in three categories: client secondments, international secondments, and work from home. RPC has won the All Star Best Retention of Diverse Talent 2025 Award! Impressively, 50% of their 2024/25 qualifying Associates came via Aspiring Solicitors. This achievement highlights RPC’s strong commitment not only to recruiting diverse talent but also to nurturing, supporting, and retaining that talent as they progress within the firm.
RPC has appointed Charlotte White as a Partner in its Employment, Engagement & Equality practice, further strengthening its client offering at a time of significant growth for the team. A former Senior Associate at RPC (2010 – 2013), Charlotte joins from CloudPay, where she was General Counsel, Data Protection Officer, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. During her time at CloudPay, a global payroll and treasury platform, Charlotte oversaw rapid international growth, expanding her legal team and acting as a director of eight of their group companies. She brings a unique skill set and experience focussed on complex employment matters, legal operations, and leadership at scale.
RPC is proud to announce that nine of its lawyers have so far been recognised in the Lexology Index rankings 2025, reflecting the firm’s exceptional talent and expertise across key practice areas. In the UK, Partner Dan Wyatt was Recommended in Investigations in April. Managing Partner Antony Sassi, Partner James Wickes, Partner Naomi Vary and Senior Consultant David Smyth were each Recommended in Insurance in May. Partner James Mee was Recommended in M&A, also in May. This month, Partner and Head of International Arbitration Shai Wade has been named a Thought Leader in Arbitration. In Asia, Partner Iain Anderson was Recommended in the Southeast Asia guide for Transport – Shipping in February. Partner Carmel Green was Recommended in the Southeast Asia guide for Insurance & Reinsurance in February, and Recommended in Insurance in May.
RPC is set to retain 89% of its UK trainees due to qualify in September 2025. 16 of the 18-strong cohort applied for newly qualified (NQ) positions across its London and Bristol offices. Two members of the 2023 trainee intake chose not to participate in the qualification process and are exploring opportunities externally.
RPC has launched Porter, its proprietary AI assistant developed in-house to support lawyers and business professionals across the firm. Fully embedded within RPC’s systems and workflows, Porter enables faster, smarter legal work, freeing up teams to focus on high-value analysis, judgement and client service.

Data and cyber heavyweight Cavan Fabris joins RPC. Cavan joins from Deloitte Legal, where he led its Data Privacy practice and co-chaired its TMT group. With over 25 years of experience across private practice, government, and in-house roles, Cavan brings a rare combination of data privacy and cyber security expertise, along with a truly international outlook.
