He is passionate about collaboration and forward-thinking, and looks forward to evolving our business to support the future of dentistry. Patterson CEO Robert Rajalingam recently had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at a dental industry leadership event, hosted by Dykema DSO Industry Group and held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The event brought together leaders of more than 30 Dental Service Organizations, and Robert shared his view of the industry, current market trends, and how Patterson is well positioned to deliver innovative solutions as a partner of choice. The event was infused with an extra sprinkle of ✨Disney magic✨ in the form of special appearances by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who were celebrating their birthdays — observed annually on November 18. It’s hard to say whether Robert was more delighted at the chance to present, or to help Mickey celebrate!

Patterson employees have been BUSY this year volunteering for a wide range of good causes. A few recent volunteering highlights: The Patterson Legal team packed 1,300 dental hygiene kits for two nonprofits in which team members support outside of their roles at Patterson: Loaves & Fishes MN and Waite House in Minneapolis. The oral hygiene kits will be distributed to kids and adults that use the nonprofits’ resources like their food pantry or community meals. Patterson and Take FIVE joined forces to organize a dental hygiene pack for two local organizations, Hope Coalition in Red Wing, MN, and Ready, Set, Smile in Minneapolis. More than 45 employees volunteered their time throughout the day to pack almost 5,000 oral hygiene kits. Patterson’s new women’s affinity group packed 3,000 hygiene kits to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8. The hygiene kits went to Sanctuary Supply Depot, a non-profit helping unhoused families, and Sojourner Project, a domestic violence shelter for women and kids.

We partnered with NELSON Worldwide to reimage the Patterson headquarters building in St. Paul, MN! Our goal was to create an inviting space for connection, collaboration and building culture. It's safe to say Nelson brought that full vision to life! The Patterson building project is complete and we met up with our lead designer yesterday to share updates on how the Patterson space is being utilized.
The finance and accounting team at our Minnesota HQ spent a portion of their team meeting packing over 200 snack bags that will be donated to The Open Door. These will be distributed to local kids who don't have secure food sources. The Open Door will also receive $1,000 in Dollars for Doers donations from the #PattersonFoundation!
