At Netcraft's summer hackathon, engineers (on placement and full-time) work on projects of their own choice: whether that's exploring their own ideas to fight cybercrime, fixing issues they care about, or furthering our collective knowledge. We have a great cooperative atmosphere, takeaway lunches are provided, and even a null result is a good outcome! Everyone gets to develop their skills, work with colleagues outside their day-to-day roles, and contribute to the innovation ongoing at Netcraft: some of our services even started life as engineers' passion projects at the hackathon.
