Air New Zealand has selected IBS Software's iRetail platform to power the commercial launch of Skynest, the world's first sleep pod experience for Economy and Premium Economy passengers on long-haul flights. Skynest debuts on Auckland-to-New York services later this year, with passengers able to book four-hour sessions during the flight. Bringing an entirely new onboard product category to market requires technology that legacy airline systems were never designed to support. iRetail's Offer-Order-Settle-Deliver architecture has given Air New Zealand the commercial and technical tools to digitally retail, book and service Skynest. We're proud to be part of bringing this to life with the Air New Zealand team.
NEWS | Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have integrated their cargo operations onto a single platform, with the migration of Hawaiian Air Cargo to IBS Software's iCargo system. The move brings both carriers into a single digital cargo management environment, replacing Hawaiian's legacy system and extending Alaska's use of iCargo since 2022. Cargo policies are now standardised across the combined network, with unified export, import, and warehouse workflows, real-time shipment visibility, and a consolidated portal for customers to book, ship and track freight across the full network.
