Our new Irish operations will be headquartered out of Dublin, with a second office in Belfast, and, in addition, we will be recruiting for new roles and field team partnerships across the island of Ireland in 2024. So far this year, we have secured more than €2 million in Irish-based contracts. We look forward to working with local contractors and micro-businesses to deliver a sustainability-led product offering and one that supports public- and private-sector clients on their decarbonisation journeys.
Today we are delighted to announce the expansion of our external maintenance and energy solutions services into the Irish market. As part of our €5 million expansion, which will be headquartered in Dublin, with a second office in Belfast, we will employ 150 new hires across various roles throughout the island of Ireland. This is in addition to our 1,100 employees across our UK operations. With this expansion, it is our ambition to become the number one net-zero biodiversity and decarbonisation-led grounds maintenance and energy-solutions company in Ireland.
