🎉 What a Month of Fun! 🎉 October has been a blast at Flashbay! We started at our October sales kick off event with our annual Oktoberfest celebration 🍻 complete with food and drink, cake, and laughter all around. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, our team really brought the heat to our Macmillan Bake Sale - Paul Hollywood would be proud 🍰🧁 as you can see, delicious treats were baked, money was raised for charity, and in true Flashbay style we even introduced friendly competition amongst the bakers! 🎂 Thank you to everyone who joined in, baked, tasted, and made these events great! ✨

Join our Polish Sales Team! 🚀 Following the recent opening of a new position within the Polish Sales Team, we sat down with one of our Group Leaders, Milosz Maciejczak, to talk about his successful career at Flashbay. Why did you choose a career in sales? Working in sales allows me to interact with people on a daily basis and provide them with solutions and a great experience, and I also really love the challenges that sales brings. Why did you choose Flashbay? Flashbay is a great place to enhance your career as it's a well established company, and with that, you get the opportunity to work and build connections with big companies and brands. This makes Flashbay a really exciting place to be! How has your career progressed whilst being at Flashbay? Since I started as a Sales Account Manager at Flashbay, nearly 4 years ago, I've been promoted to Senior Sales Account Manager and then to Sales Group Leader which shows that we've got some great career opportunities at Flashbay. What is the best advice you have for someone who is looking to progress their career? I think I can't point out just one thing, but setting high standards and being proactive would be very high on that list! This month we held our annual Summer party for all of our employees based at our Flashbay HQ in London. We donned our finest attire and stepped into the ultimate Casino Royale experience! 🎲 ♠ We took a real gamble with this theme but it paid off as it was an exciting night filled with casino games ♣♦, signature cocktails and mocktails 🍹, delicious food and music. 🎼 Here's just a snapshot of the fun we had... 💃
Last month, Flashbay donated new footballs to a great cause - Football For Foodbanks . ⚽ Football for Foodbanks is a charity that sets up casual football games, in six different locations across the UK. Their profits go directly back into the local community by supporting food banks. One of Flashbay's very own, Lewis Caley, plays football with them each week to support the charity in Sheffield. So, we were glad to have the opportunity to get involved too and hope our donation goes a long way towards feeding the less fortunate in that area! ⚽
We recently hosted our very own Flashbay walking challenge in aid of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme - 'Moving for our Mental Health'. Across the week, 6 teams and 30 employees competed to walk the furthest distance. The teams collectively walked a total of 1,254.45km across the week, which is roughly the distance of walking from the Flashbay HQ in London to Sanremo, Italy. It was a close fought battle but in the end we crowned a winning team and their prizes were delivered to them this week. Well done to all who walked!
