We’re still smiling after an incredible few days of giving back. 💙 🧡 At Bright, each employee has a paid Volunteer Day to use each year for a cause close to their heart! Over four amazing days, 14 Bright Volunteers came together to give back to their communities, spending time supporting @foodcloud in Tallaght, Ireland and @helpinghandscommunityproject in Leamington Spa, UK. A massive thank you to each and every volunteer who took part. You’ve made a meaningful impact! Moments like this are a great reminder of how powerful it is when we step outside of our day-to-day to volunteer. The difference made across these four days is something to be really proud of. #TheBrightWay #FoodCloudVolunteering #helpinghandscommunityproject

At Bright, to win and get better every day, we need to be continuously learning. Whether it is an external course, a book or an in-house speaker, we are committed to providing solutions that suit all ways of learning. Our annual Learning Week is just one of the ways we empower our people to develop new skills, share knowledge and embrace challenges together.
A heartfelt thank you to the team! Together, we raised £900 for Myton Hospice and Birmingham Children’s Hospital at the Warwick Dragon Boat Festival.
🌟 At Bright, we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be the Brightest they can be. That’s why we created BrightMinds, a group of employees who are passionate about neurodiversity and help us in recognising, supporting and celebrating the diverse ways our minds work. Hear from Amanda who is in the group and why she believes BrightMinds is a positive initiative for those who are neurodiverse.
94.9% of Bright employees feel valued and respected by their manager! Ken, from our Payroll Support Team, has shared his perspective on what visible leadership commitment looks likes. 🎥 Watch the video below.
We had a fantastic session with Catherine O’Keeffe, Wellness Warrior, who joined us for a seminar. As part of our commitment to fostering a healthy and inclusive workplace at Bright, we are recognising women's health throughout the month of May. This initiative aims to raise awareness, share learnings and provide valuable resources on many aspects of women's health. Catherine talked us through hormone health and the impact it can have on mood, energy, sleep, focus and metabolism. She shared the important role hormones play as a vital sign of overall health and knowledge on what to expect during perimenopause and menopause.
📣 Did you hear? We've been nominated for a Newstalk Changemaker Award! 🏆 We have been shortlisted for the ‘Inclusive Workplace Award’ which highlights organisations committed to building workplaces where diversity and inclusion thrive. Keep an eye out to find out more soon.
🎉 This March, we proudly launched our BrightHer Mentoring programme. This initiative is dedicated to supporting our amazing women in their career progression and enhancing their positions within our business. The first BrightHer Mentoring programme paired 21 women with 21 mentors, who are committed to fostering their colleagues’ development. Our mentors include both women and men, all united in their goal to empower and uplift their mentees. Running from March to November, the programme facilitates regular one-to-one sessions between mentees and mentors, ensuring continuous support and growth. We are excited to see the positive impact this programme will have on our team and look forward to celebrating the achievements of our participants.
