🚀 Join a Growing team at BKL At BKL, we’re continuing to grow - and with that growth comes exciting opportunities for talented people looking to take the next step in their career. Stephen Baker, Head of Employment Taxes at BKL, talks about the breadth of work his team supports clients with, from payroll, expense reviews and salary sacrifice planning through to increasingly complex areas such as off-payroll working and global mobility matters. He is particularly keen to speak with people who already have experience and are looking for a role where they can make an impact, build strong client relationships and help shape a rapidly evolving team. We’d especially love to hear from those with experience in: • Employment taxes • Payroll, expenses and benefits planning • Termination payments • IR35 and off-payroll working • International and cross-border matters If you’re a self-starter who enjoys variety, collaboration and the chance to grow with a firm that’s evolving quickly, we’d love to hear from you. We recently had the privilege of attending the recent Collaborate London event hosted by The Talent Labs. It was a genuinely insightful event, bringing together talent acquisition professionals to share ideas, challenges and perspectives. We really valued the opportunity to connect with others in the space and hear different approaches to some of the topics shaping our work right now. From evolving hiring trends and the impact of AI, to how we continue to strengthen our EVP, there were plenty of thought provoking discussions to take away. Thanks to The Talent Labs for hosting such a well-curated and engaging event - looking forward to putting some of these insights into practice!

The BKL Music Quiz 2026 BKL was delighted to host a charity music quiz at The Phoenix bringing together colleagues and guests for an enjoyable evening fundraising for Music Support. Music Support, now celebrating its 10th year, provides help and support to people working across the music industry. Alongside the quiz itself, guests enjoyed drinks, nibbles and a silent auction featuring music memorabilia and prizes, all helping to raise valuable funds for the charity. Congratulations to the winning team, Non-toxic masculinity, led by Sam Goldman, and a special mention to Tony Cohen’s team, Monster of Rioja’s, who took the prize for best team name. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the evening such a success.
