How much does a Auto Technician make in Warwick, West Midlands, England?

Hey all, I’m currently working as a general service technician but I’m given automotive technician responsibilities and work, it’d be fine if I got recognition and pay to reflect but they just keep me as hourly and disregard any attempt at a conversation of a promotion, any tips, or job recommendations in the Mesa az area?

Hello everyone, I have been working as an Automotive Technician for a little over a year now and I feel stuck in this field. I am looking for a different path in life. I want to get into something where I can actually grow.

question for my fellow auto technicians. how did you shift fields 13 years as an auto tech and i cant do it anymore its driven me to hate working on cars, I'm in my low 30's but i cant seem to get any other trades to give me a shot. my initial try was to get an apprenticeship with the ibew but that's gone no where so far.

Will I be taken seriously when I enter this new field? I’m new to the engineering field, so new that I haven’t even started my courses yet. This is a career change from being an automotive apprentice, I got injured and couldn’t recover or work. I’ve been working for 7 years, and I feel like businesses won’t take me seriously with the little associates certificate I’m hoping to get. What would you recommend to help me validate myself in the engineering field as hardworking and eager to learn?
