IBM Enterprise Strategy (Mainly FS) or Accenture Strategy (FS). At first I was leaning towards Accenture, but looking at the stock market, IBM is doing a lot better recently than Accenture. Could be AI hype but seems like leadership at IBM is doing a much better job than Accenture. Furthermore, IBM's Enterprise Strategy team is Much smaller and (for now) has not done layoffs compared to the giant that is Accenture Strategy. What are your thoughts?
I’ll say it: certs are overrated resume candy. I’ve seen too many ‘certified’ architects who can’t troubleshoot a DNS timeout but can recite exam dumps perfectly. Meanwhile, my best ops engineer has zero certs just raw curiosity, Linux fu, and the ability to stay calm during a P1 outage. I’ll take real world experience over certs any day!!! Am I wrong? I’ve watched cert-chasers leave 6 months after getting paper and the steady, uncertified ones stay and grow. Change my mind…
Is it just me or is 3 days in office still not enough work life balance? I think work life balance ended for me once work from home started and we were able to be reached all hours of the day
Recruitment firms for Big 4 / Professional Services Sydney placing professionals from London? Opinion on big 4 vs others? I was in Deals previously at a Big4 firm in London but left advisory to go into industry (career pivot). Looking to move to Sydney in the next year - what's the easiest way / any recruitment firms that place people abroad? I would want to be moving with a job (require visa sponsorship) and would want to start in a new team adjacent to my current role in M&A Corp Finance
