A very boring work place anyone can work in this organisation you really don't need any qualification or work experience it just take 2 weeks to know the job in Work Better. Serious professional will never prefer to work in this organisation and the salary is peanuts.

Pros

The young employees are the only good thing.

Cons

The cons of working in this place are many. 1. Location: Though the new office has swanky interiors, the office location negate it totally. It is in an industrial area. The approach road to office is very dusty - right from the morning to late evening! Add the irritating smoke emanating from the nearby factories most of the time. So, if you decide to take a walk and breathe some fresh air, forget it. which is smoky most of the time. location is in a pathetic area. Train: The office is about 2 km away from the Borivali railway station and it's a fight every morning to reach as most autos refuse to ply to this place. In the evening, it is again a fight to get an auto to the station. The long queue for the share auto, combined with the traffic jam on the approach road to station is a big let down to join this place. And if you have to leave late (which is on most days), God save you by sending a willing auto so late at this place. Road: The WE Highway is 800 metres away, but walking to the office in the dust and smoke and sun is painful. Not to mention the condition of the approach road during rains. Get your own food from home as food options are very limited. 2. Office Timings: It is a strict 9:30 am log-in time. Four late marks will invite a penalty of half-day leave getting deduced from your leave balance or salary cut. While they insist on entering office on time, there's no fixed time to leave. The management expects you to work late or at least till they owners are in office (which is 730-800 on most days). The rules, of course, vary for the owners of the company, who stay close by in Thakur Village, and walk in leisurely at 1030-11 am. A word for the proprietors of the company - Practice what you preach. Considering that employees, come from as far as Kalyan and New Mumbai, a company that claims to be modern and harps on its self-proclaimed good-culture cannot have a strict log-in time in today's Mumbai. It definitely brings down the morale of the workforce. 3. Management: It is primarily a family run show with the husband, wife, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, etc. The proprietor's relatives join and leave with work-experience certificates and projects very often. While they claim to be a behavioural training company that is professional in everything that they do (including abusing!), the CEO is the least professional of all. The choice of cuss words (English and Hindi) that he uses in his speeches (that are a self-glorifying monologues) and meetings are shameful. Great trendsetter to few others in the company who use expletives liberally. In any formal corporate these would be sacked for Sexual Harrassment charges. All this in an office set-up where majority of the employees are women! Great way to go and grow on becoming a big corporate! 4. 5-Day OR 6-Day Working: During the interview process, you will be told that they work 5-days a week and Saturdays are Work-from-Home. While you're not required to come to office on most Saturdays, you're required to be available all the while online - totally unacceptable for the peanuts they pay as salaries. 5. Culture: Work Better Training Pvt Ltd. tries very hard to portray a friendly culture, but it fails miserably at that. Professionalism, here, is a one-way street - YOU are expected to be professional, NOT them. You'll be paid for eight hours of work, but you've to give 10-12 hours daily. You're expected to come on time, and leave when the owners leave at 730-8 PM. And yes, last but not the least - if any office property gets stolen/damaged - the owners propose to recover the cost by deducting it from everyone's salaries! 6. Sales Process: Every sales person is required to send the recorded conversations with clients, sales calls to the owners without fail for a so-called analysis, suggestions and improvement. Any sales person would realize that this is the gross mistrust that the owners have in their team. And an insult to a sales person. HR Policies: No medical insurance or medical allowances in the CTC.

Dear Ex-Inside Sales employee (yes, we know who you are!), First of all, we would like to thank you for providing us with such a detailed feedback. As you know, we love receiving feedback, both positive and negative, since it helps us become a better company. :) We would’ve appreciated it ten times more had you said all of this to us directly while you were here. Clearly, you forgot about one of the pros of working in this company (you missed mentioning it in the review too!). We have an open door policy where any employee can walk up to the management and bring up their concerns and speak their mind, without any qualms. All our people indulge in this practice. We really wonder why you didn’t; we could’ve helped you with your list of concerns. 1. LOCATION: As much as we would like to improve the road and railway transport system in Mumbai along with the food options in Borivali, these are completely out of our control. After all, our focus remains training & development and not the hospitality or civil engineering business. 2. OFFICE TIMINGS: In your angst to bash us up, you seem to have forgotten the fact that we do have a 30-mins buffer time post the 9.30 am in-time for our people to come in. Surely, 10 am is not an unreasonable time at which to start work? We are not sure how you learnt of the “management’s expectations” for you to leave later than they do because none of the others seem to be aware of it. All those people at Work Better, including the Management, who tend to stay late at work often do so not out of any compulsion but because they are workaholics who like completing their work on time and because it makes them feel contented with their work. The management, of course, has been given this feedback of practicing what they preach and we’re glad to inform you that they’ve already started working on it. 3. MANAGEMENT: Not only the management’s family members but every team member of Work Better leaves with work experience certificates. You could too, had you just asked us for one! We feel you’re being unfair when you talk about a family run show. First, it is public knowledge that the company was started by a husband and wife duo. We are sure that you are also aware of the fact that each one of the "family members" at Work Better are highly qualified and competent individuals who come with experience and have contributed immensely to the company. Are you saying we should stop hiring highly competent people just because they are family? Yes, we do tend to use slang words often but it’s NEVER directed at any of our people. Therefore, calling it sexual harassment is not only unfair but belittling the term. Please do not misuse such a serious term. 4. 5-DAY OR 6-DAY WORKING: The last we checked work from home does happen to mean actually working from home, which means being available to work queries and your colleagues remotely. By your own admission, you were told at the interview stage about the WFH Saturdays as well as the peanuts being offered. Rather than calling it unacceptable, we’d say it’s unreasonable that you’re blaming us for your decision to take up this job. 5. CULTURE: We really need you to tell us which document you referred to or who inducted you about the expectations and culture bit while you were here. We don’t remember insisting on you leaving from work after the management does. If you did it to impress them and if you think like a factory worker about the number of hours you put in at work each day, it’s your prerogative, not ours! We make our expectations from every employee crystal clear to them at the interview stage as well as during induction. In fact, it is clearly highlighted on our website too. We want A-team players and we’ve been very clear about that on every front. And we’ve never indulged in any us versus them situation. It clearly is a figment of your imagination. Also, why not be truthful and mention the whole story. We never intended to, nor did we make you or any employee pay for any stolen goods and damages. 6. SALES PROCESS: We take pride in learning to make ourselves better at our job. We ask for recorded client conversations to appreciate those who do their calls well and to help others get better at theirs. Asking for recorded client calls is a standard industry practice. Considering you have worked in similar profiles before you worked with us, it’s surprising that you’re stretching it so much to call it gross mistrust and insulting. We have managed to grow as a company, retained good talent, worked with big clients repeatedly over the years. Clearly, we are doing something right. At the same time, we are aware of our areas of improvement and are continually working on them. Nevertheless, we wish you good luck!

Pros

- It's a challenge to work here, but in a good way. It will push you to bring you best self to work and then push that self to further heights. - I promise that you will learn something new everyday. but that depends of how willing you are to learn. - The people working here are not your average Joes and Janes. They are amazingly forward thinking and bright minds with a fire in their bellies to push to newer boundaries. The focus on self-development and learning is unparalleled. There is a simple law here which is the same as the law of evolution, survival of the fittest.

Cons

- You might lose track of time sometimes. - If you're not up for it, the work pressure might be overwhelming. - There might be days when you won't feel like getting out of bed. But if this isn't happening, then you're not growing.
