Pros

Founders are Awesome, Great Vision, Best Platform for upskilling, Best Place to work. Mayank Kumar and Ronnie tried to provide a very good working environment and culture like facebook or Google.

Cons

Only one - Arjun Mohan. Remove this person from the company founders. This outsider is killing your vision. Look over the the feedback all around. What will you do if your employees are not happy even those who are with you from the start of the journey. No one will come and tell you straight away but this voice should reach out to you because it is from hundreds of your employees who love to work in upgrad. This man Arjun Mohan is brutal for the company. Whatever he has learn is byjus and we know the work culture there. Negatives review for upgrad will be highly effevtive on growth that we are expecting. * Please open your eyes Mayank.

Pros

I have been working with the company for less than one year and the company was doing really good. We had proper working hours and professional and personal life. There was a good balance. We got our weekly offs as well. The idealization was to create a healthy revenue driven company by providing a promising future to our learners. The counselors were counselors and nobody had sales mindset. The targets were overachieved and with every quarter we were growing.

Cons

Notice I mentioned everything above in the past tense. Now lets come to the reality. UpGrad hired ARJUN MOHAN from byjus whose name in byjus was like the spoon that you never use at your home. This particular guy comes with such a huge arrogance and rigidity to change things according to his mind set. Unfortunately, our founders and Co-founders are not able to see beyond him and his thoughts. The culture of the company is getting replicated as of byjus. Basically, we are working like a BPO and does not care about anything apart from saving ourselves from firing and micro management. Revenue has been converted into call time. Every counseling call has only one objective of selling now. The idea is really good, can help company in the shorter run but I thought this is a long running company and wants to create a change. DO NOT TAKE JOB HERE. As soon as you come, you'll everything behind. While I right this review, its the 6th week I'm working without an off and when asked for an off, i was denied in-spite completing my target.

Pros

1- The managers, senior managers and even director of FOS sales are very supportive and will provide you all the support you need. 2. They have different fun activities even during lockdown like live singing performance or pubg tournament. 3. They pay good compensation. 4. There is a lot of money if you can ace sales. 5. Work culture was better at one point of time but no more. (Thanks to BYJUS)

Cons

1. Recent changes in leadership team sucks. 2. Mr. Arjun Mohan is a CEO who rather than supportive tries to scare people on the context of firing them. 3.Turning into BYJUS mode of work culture which is inhuman.
