simplehuman is a great place to work. The culture is that of a small company feel, but one that has been able to make a significant name for itself in the world of housewares. Employees here work hard, and the expectation is high. At the same time, the company has an indoor gym, where there are daily activities such as yoga, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, kickboxing, etc. and this is a great way to not only take care of your physical needs, but also to connect with your fellow co workers who may work in other departments. Once a week lunch or breakfast is catered, and there’s a hybrid work environment where some departments are able to work from home one day a week. There’s always opportunities to improve processes and be a value added team player, but you need to do your homework, and provide solutions that are carefully thought through. There are a lot of smart people who have and continue to work at simplehuman helping further the quality, functionality, and reputation of the brand. Building and developing good products is paramount, and drives much of what we do as a company. Opportunity to move around and try various roles. I’ve worked in three to four different capacities within the company. Occasionally employees are able to attend NBA NFL MLS games with front row seats or suite access, and also Hollywood bowl and Disney concert hall tickets are also company benefits that are shared from time to time. Employees receive a discount on simplehuman products. There’s a unique culture at simplehuman, one that may take some getting used to, but I’ve found it rewarding, challenging, and generally filled with great people who i enjoy working with!

Ability to contribute to business that designs and produces products that are innovative and useful. There has also been a push to promote sustainability to help the environment without compromising performance of products.
