Pros

Having worked at nitro for several years now and seen the journey, change and challenges that it has been through - have great admiration for the determination, spirit and adaption of the agency and people within it. It has a very entrepreneurial core at its heart and a place where you are able to craft your own path and take ownership for business activities if you want to. A good forward-thinking work culture that understands the challenges of life to help you balance those with flexibility and understanding. Has good and international client base and a strong value proposition to wanting to make a real difference in what they do. Management is engaged with the team and fair in their decision making.

Cons

The UK office, although is an amazing location in the heartbeat of Soho - is a bit tired and uninspiring now and needs a makeover or move to a new space that reflects the energy and personality of the business. Pretty sure plans are to do this already.

Poor choice of managers

Pros

Location and the employees are amazing. Genuinely the funniest, kindest and most bizarre group of people you'd ever meet.

Cons

It's a sad state of affairs. The management team are inexperienced and suppress any creativity within the company. Projects don't get delivered on time or on budget. There is no marketing team, PM's are all new and need to be on-boarded. QA struggle to properly QA. With the new setup of teams into Tribes and Squads employees end up being micro managed by chapter leads/ tribe leads/ head of country. For those not in a tribe it feels like they are resource to be used by anyone and end up with no availability.

Pros

Staff generally friendly, good mix. Supportve admin and HR staff Offices atmosphere on good days is fun Interesting projects Ok pay and good perks

Cons

Haven't worked there long and already looking for something else. I've worked in fast paced teams before but here projects are messy. they could learn a lot from other places if they listened - but managers too busy to talk to teams. I've also witnessed bullying, people pushed to work long hours + weekends to show commitment, yelled at - people compete with each other, not work together for client. CEO says take issues to him, but difficult when you see colleagues let go/disappear "with immediate effect'! Heard lots about the Nitro style but be careful if you want to challenge it... Such a shame as Nitro work is interesting and icould be a great place to work
