I very much enjoyed my co-workers and have stayed in touch with many since I resigned my position in sales. The leadership of the company is bad. They kept changing the directions and expectations a few times a month. The commission plan was impossible to understand and I think that was done deliberately. They did everything they could in the plan not to pay commissions. Even their favorite sales person in the company would have to wait and wonder if he was actually going to get paid. They divided up prospects in the GTA and did so in ways that favors one particular person over the rest of the team. If you say something to the leaders you feel like you’re treated like a trouble maker. I was lucky to be able to resign but they fire people very quickly before they can even see if their new plans will work out. And to that point they don’t give much time to see if a new tactic of theirs is working they just change tactics and then a short time later will ask why there aren’t any results. Not many in the office have the courage to say anything to the contrary because they are just trying to get through the day to get a pay check. They aren’t inspired employees who want to do a good job they are scared and feel like the leadership is going to pounce on them. If you’re in the US don’t humor coming here. You’ll have 3-6 months to sell millions of dollars. There is no name recognition in the US and only 2 or 3 exiting clients who probably aren’t raving fans to be a reference. Your only hope would be companies going to Tender and you being the lowest price and that isn’t going to happen. The company will be out of business before too long. Don’t be a casualty of it.
