Ok let's get real, real.
Before you interview here let me walk you through the "'pitch".
1. God first, family second, Gpac third.
This is bs on every single level. First, they believe they ARE your God and your family.. Second, this faux Christian company spent 8k on an open bar for their Christmas gala. (which is cool and I have no problems with). By the end of the night I saw the toppest top dog of the company get pulled out of a physical fight with a recruiter in the parking lot. multiple top level employees stumbling drunk to their cars to head to the bars. drink, don't drink, I don't care. But for a company that spouts Jesus it's a pretty trashy look. Third, you will have no time for your family. Period. daytime working hours are for archaic recruiting methods making ineffective cold calls. Effective recruiting is expected to be done on your own time. Evenings and weekends. You know, family time. I have witnessed women in tears because they are desperately trying to balance a sick child at home while meeting insane metrics that track useless metrics. In summary, Gpac first, Gpac only, Gpac always.
We have a great culture of team players.
Lies. Warning ⚠️ This is 100% an old school boys club. The amount of sexist, nasty things I heard on company calls and in company chats online was shocking. They would consistently delete offensive comments from chats as quickly as possible and then pretend it didn't happen. The comments almost always come from "top producers" so the behavior never got addressed. Money is king. Not yours, THEIRS. If you raise any concerns about the culture, you're not a team player.
Proven Effective Recruiting Techniques (we've been doing this for 30 years and if you trust the system you will make money)
TOTAL CRAP. I'm saying this as a top producer who took home close to 300k in 3 years. Gpac made close to $1 Million from the deals I closed. Do the math. The "system" is 30 years old. This is a point of pride for them. Think. about it. Think about how much the way we hire and look for jobs has changed in the past 5 years. They refuse to acknowledge that CEO's do not answer the phone for unknown numbers in the middle oof a busy day. But God forbid you don't leave 60 vm's every day. When was the last time YOU checked your vm? Yeah, THAT'S the system you are supposed to trust.
You can make as much money as you
Sorta. AFTER you collect the money from the company you placed with. (yes...you. the recruiter. Because Gpac is too cheap to pay an accountant to collect on accounts. If a company is late paying, your director will start calling and emailing, them? Nope! You! Every. DAY. Until you get Gpac their money. If you work with another Gpac recruiter (they find candidate, you find company), you make 25% of 50% of the fee. Average fee is 20k. That's $2,500 for you before taxes. Most deals take 3 - 4 weeks to put together. That's 3 - 4 weeks working a minimum of 60 hours a week. Then take out health insurance and the $300 a month Gpac makes the employee pay for MANDATORY tools. You just worked your butt off for less than minimum wage.
BEFORE you buy the "Wolf of Wallstreet" wrapped in Jesus pitch, I thought you should know.
