way low pay makes for high turnover, new grads coming to work at YSS either go back to get masters degree or use positions for stepping stones because they cant afford their student loans on their salaries. Pay freezes and lack of financial reward to those employees that stay on and carry the programs on their backs.

Vastly underpaid, the CEO is a narcissist, every department is only out for themselves, no one works together, they all compete for the same grants and donor money. They promote and hire a lot of unqualified people just because their story, including the CEO who used YSS services when he was a youth. The whole organization is a toxic work environment from the top down. The CEO is abusive to sr leadership, and trickles down through the supervisors
