Going thru bad times

Pros

Interesting area to work in that makes a difference, used to be a top company in this area

Cons

Lots of new top managers who do not understand the business well yet, many layoffs happened and more on the way. I would not recommend joining for now. Also, they pay themselves very well, give jobs to their mates, and travel business class all over the world but no raises for people at the bottom.

Pros

Sometimes pizza... that's it... always pizza.. oh free coffee and newly renovated bathrooms. Benefits are good.

Cons

Where do I even start? Coworkers: Always in a bad mood. When you have questions, they have attitudes. You work in a toxic place, I guess you develop some toxic personalities. All these people want to do is kiss up to the managers, but they get no where because there is absolutely no room for growth. Growth: Speaking of growth, if you are related to upper management, you will get promoted within a year or two. If you are an outsider, you will get promoted about after 10 years. Management: Some departments have managers that want to get things done, and they get things moving sometimes.. But some managers do not keep their words and give empty words. It leaves their employees hopeful and then later on disappointed. They don't know how to manage a team, and when a conflict does occur, they don't know how to handle it, which is why this place is so toxic. Most of the people and management do not have college degrees either. Also, everyone is on their own.. its like the hunger games. No team work whatsoever. Also.. FAVORITISM. You can clearly see it. Pay: Super underpaid. They don't ever give you the title with the word "analyst" so they don't have to pay you more. However, they're always giving saying we should be analyzing this and that. You merely get a 2% raise... You are at your workplace for the majority of your day. It takes up so much of your life. Why would you want to be in such a toxic environment?
