Pros

There are some brilliant thought leaders here and they are able to achieve results for clients which are above and beyond what most management consulting firms are capable of doing. Very laid back work environment with a high amount of trust in employees to deliver. Exciting clients and projects to work on.

Cons

With it being a smaller place, there are a fair amount of growing pains to go through around developing processes, procedures, job responsibilities/roles, career pathing etc.

Pros

As a company, Work Effects practices what they preach. I've gotten to experience first-hand the products and services we offer - Work Effects does not only help other organizations with leadership and culture solutions, but they are also intentional about their alignment and development internally. I have participated in individual-level, team-level, and org-level sessions, and everyone is 'on-board' with the Work Effects mission and values. The organization is quite flat, and everyone - from CEO to newest interns - is approachable if you have a question or concern. There is regular communication across departments so relevant information is available and shared. Work Effects leadership has a focused direction and ambitious goals for the future, and it is taking clear steps to continue to grow and develop its competitive advantage. Despite its growth, the 'fun-factor' continues to be appreciable - employees tend to like what they do, and the work environment is a great mixture of dedication, passion, creativity, trust, and playfulness. Personally, I've appreciated the opportunities Work Effects has offered to increase my existing skills and to help me develop new ones. Leadership trusts their employees, and I have had a very participatory role in the evolution of my position here at Work Effects.

Cons

As long as you're vocal about what you need, you'll generally get it. Feedback is not always regularly offered, but it is readily given when requested. As Work Effects is expanding rather quickly, internal resources don't always keep up with internal needs. Their client base is growing, and internal resources and capabilities can be stretched pretty thin.
