Pros
I believe they have a robust drug addiction / rehab program which is well funded, as the CEO feels strongly for this population and gives particular attention to this pillar of healthcare
Cons
-Very poor quality of services for primary care / urgent care / specialty care. Management is aware of this and the incidents are well documented & reported, but nothing is done to fix the quality of care as this is an FQHC. -I have seen instances of blatant Medi-Cal fraud, which have been brought to the attention of the CMO. HR will then target you with monthly meetings to review your “performance.” I was the highest performing employee at the clinic, but was subsequently forced out because I spoke out. As were many others before me. -I’ve had coworkers who had lawsuits brought against them for pts they saw while they were WSH employees, and WSH basically never returned their calls and left them to their own devices - possibly to lose their license. This place does not care for you, and it will come back to haunt you.
