I have been working at Waddell & Reed full-time

    Pros

Jeans, unlimited PTO, health insurance premiums

    Cons

Company growth is non-existent, feels like middle level of management isn’t capable of turning around culture and thinking.

    Advice to Management

Start with really looking at the culture. Adding a lot of staff in HR isn’t necessarily translating into employee engagement.

I worked at Waddell & Reed full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some people of very caring and professional

    Cons

So many people have either been let go or left, the ones that are remaining will throw you under the bus, postering in meetings, and public humiliation is the thing to do when desperate.

    Advice to Management

When asking for ideas don’t publicly embarrass. Promote due to skills not because they are tall and swarthy

I have been working at Waddell & Reed full-time

    Pros

Good people, nice campus, generous vacation policy

    Cons

It's disjointed right now. In the middle of a lot of transitions and the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing. There have been a lot of policy changes in the last 2 years to make the company more competitive at the expense of the employees.
