Pros

Great pay, even when you don't deserve it (like recent graduates out of college).

Cons

You're consistently told "people are eternal" and yet management does nothing in the way they treat their employees in that way. All they value is bringing in money and will do it at any cost—even to the customer. This place is cutting corners left and right and expecting employees to put up with consistent changes in philosophy and failed business endeavors. Someone needs to step out from the top to get this place under control.

We appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback, so thank you! You referenced one of our three values as a company: "Eternal." We strive to treat every person that we come in contact with as an eternal being with whom we'll have an eternal relationship. This applies to prospective customers, customers, current employees, former employees, and anyone else that we interact with. While this is a core part of our company's foundation, we understand that there is always room for improvement, and we are constantly striving to be better each day. We are sorry to hear that we did not effectively personify this value during your time with us. Should you feel led to do so, we encourage you to reach out to our HR department directly so that we may further understand and be able to use this as an opportunity to improve.

Pros

Pay, Unlimited PTO Time, co-workers

Cons

Ownership. Many, Many people have been let go in one way or another since July first. (Firings, layoffs, elimination of position, and people jumping ship) Don't know the exact number, but I have heard as many as 130. The owner made some horrible decisions back in the winter that has cost the company millions. Rumor has it that anyone who disagrees with him tends to lose their job. No one is safe anymore. Even those in the "Owner's Circle" have been let go.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding your time at Viewrail. While we want to continue growing as an organization, and provide opportunities for growth for all employees, there are times this is not reality. We recently right-sized the organization based on our 6 month revenue projections. This was not an easy decision. Our priority during this time was to treat each person with respect as we had these difficult conversations. Should you desire to discuss this further, we encourage you to reach out to the HR Team.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding your time at Viewrail. We are sorry to hear that you feel your time here was not what you hoped it would be. While we strive to clearly communicate through each step we take as an organization, we know that there is always room for improvement. Our goal is to position our teams in a way that supports our desire to be responsive, while encouraging the growth of employees and the organization as a whole. Sometimes, that means making changes in quick succession which is not always easy. We appreciate this opportunity to reflect on these instances and areas where we can grow as an organization.
