Pros

none at this time. Was once a great company to work for.

Cons

The reviews on this page have been filtered by management. Leadership is unable to adapt to the harsh criticism that employees are unhappy and are leaving in droves. Instead of fixing some of the issues, focusing on improving the customer journey, rolling out new features and offerings, they have spent precious time disputing Glassdoor reviews with employees telling them its the best place to work and that some people don't have the right mindset to be there. Welp, looks like your current actions are backfiring. Leave the integrity of Glassdoor alone, and don't draw attention to bad reviews. There's always one bad apple, but when the tree is poisoned, all the apples become bad.

Pros

Application security is still a relevant space. Veracode will give you experience and understanding of the dev/sec/ops process.

Cons

Veracode was once a good company. That is no longer the case. They have become the slow moving, non agile company in the space. There are numerous better options to work for not just in security but application security. The company is dominated by the private equity firm who now owns them. Veracode has been bought by CA, sold to Broadcom, sold to ThomaBravo. They have a first time CEO who seems more focused on her political beliefs than the performance of the company. The lack of technology innovation and adoption to the market under her leadership has hurt the company. The majority of the people that made this a good company have left.

Pros

Salaries are to market now, it wasn’t like that before. Total rewards team and HRBPs- nice work! Since now we don’t work there for the great culture at least you pay us correctly.

Cons

Terrible executive team. It starts with Sam King, the CRO, CHRO, CMO, CTO and whatever other Cs you can come up with. Now add the CHRO to the mix (Alison) and you have the mean girl club right there. Cross any of those, and by cross I mean, propose a differ view, and you are done. How do we accomplish this? Add the CFO (David) to it and we will call it a “you are done” for financial reasons. This is the great trio of doom. The rest of the management team is not even interesting to speak about - they do what they are told or out they go. Who can blame them for inaction?
