Pros
- wide variety of transportation projects - opportunities to take on as much work as you want - tons of experience in a VERY short period of time
Cons
- Management would rather appear to be "right" about a situation than find the correct solutions - workload is untenable and has caused burnout in multiple employees - management doesn't care about employee's health (see burnout, COVID) - no parental leave offered at all - wages and benefits are not competitive with the market - you're judged by how good of an employee you are by how many hours you spend at your desk so management can watch you, not by the actual quality of the work you produce - IT still thinks it's 1986 - confusing and inconsistent internal processes that change constantly because of interruptions in workflow because employees are routinely saddled with more work than they can handle - promises of training opportunities but workload will prevent this from ever happening - the office culture is a toxic nightmare. Racist and sexist remarks are routinely made without any repercussion.
