Union has done a lot to get nurses fair pay and benefits in the last decade.

Cons

Some floors still staffed poorly. Management doesn’t seem to have a great deal of patient care experience.

Pay is usually somewhat competitive while it lasts.

Cons

There is a lot of people currently being cut out to cut costs and make operations look profitable In what seems like an effort to prepare hospital for sale. If applying here, the employees you work with are usually great and in the same boat but don’t count on longevity unless you work endlessly for nothing.
