Pros

The CEO, Tom Ferry, is amazing! I love his vision and what he is doing for his clients success. He is a busy man but will make time for company meetings on occasion to help individuals with goal setting!

Cons

Poor training. Management can't even make eye contact with you in the hallways. So much favoritism going on in the office. Employees who are sneaky and cheat the system get praised! So don't even work with integrity because you'll get looked down on. Management discriminates certain departments prohibiting them from going into the break room by customer service ("because you might be too loud for them") Since they hire children right? Management can sometimes try and treat you like a child that the employees even call their team leaders TEACHER as a joke! The personal development is great till a certain a point... Because any problem or concern you bring up to your "team leader" he/she will tell you that it's your MINDSET! By the way it's an ongoing joke throughout the office. Everything and anything is your mindset! Oh and if you ever get tired of this place and find a career.... DON'T put in your 2 weeks because they will tell you to leave at that moment or at the end of that week. Yes how unprofessional! They cut your commission but yet raise your monthly expectations? What about giving your employees raises? Oh I forgot that organization doesn't give raises! Don't work here! Unless you're straight out of high school and it's your first job. And even then I would feel bad for you.

Pros

It's a job, so you're not on the street. Most of the staff is friendly. The CEO is a great motivational speaker, if you like to hear motivational speeches, you'll hear them regularly.

Cons

As of the date I left they didn't offer a 401K or any type of retirement plan most of their long term staff have nothing set aside for when they retire. There is a cult like mentality to the organization, if you read all of the reviews from current employees, you'll see none of them can find any cons to the organization. When the CEO walks through the work areas employees are expected to clap. When the CEO has a visitor everyone is expected to clap. As of the date I left, the company would close between Christmas and New Years and they would not pay their employees for the time they were closed. With most employees making near minimum wage, it was tough to miss a full week of pay. The company is focused on sales, and their sales team would lie about terms of their contracts only to leave the client care department to have to deal with angry clients who were in signed non cancellable contracts. The company micromanages your day, the time clock is strictly enforced, whether arriving, going to and from work or leaving, not being close to the exact minute was not tolerated. If you were helping a client and you happened to need to work overtime for 5 minute or so, the time was typically manually edited from your work day and the minor extra time would not be paid. The best way to advance in the company is through nepotism, and it is obvious that there are different sets of rules for the many family members then for every other employee.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your perceptions of the workplace when you were here. Many of our benefits have been expanded in the past year - among them being a 401K with a company match. We know our that our energetic and personal-development-focused environment is not for everyone. Hopefully you have found a workplace that is better suited to your needs and career goals.
