Pros

Great company: Great coworkers and place to work. Some people have issues but here are some actual examples that support my opinion. Treat Employees Right: They treat employees great even when sales are low. Profits have been in a serious decline since 2015 In August the leadership team held their meetings in Bermuda 2 weeks before a large layoff and recently went to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in November for their meetings. Even when things look grim and money is tight they they can still have a great time. Retention bonus. Right after the most recent layoff many of us received retention bonus' ranging from 6 months to a year. I received a 6 month bonus (60K) and I know some that got a full year. Younger more energetic workplace: We've had 2 major layoffs this year (March a VRO but some were forced and October) and since then it is a much younger and energetic workplace (25% The average age was 46 but now much lower if you are interested in working with a more lively and exciting workplace. 50 persons in March / April and another 50 in October. Humor: The Sr Leadership team is great and always have some antics that make me laugh. For example recently our new CFO is trying to gain more favor with our CEO. Lately she has been competing to get a new office and is going around commenting how the Teletracking Dwarf better not get a new office she wants or she'll step on him. When I heard her say this I couldn't stop laughing. We in the the office are placing bets who will get it. We have Tele - Experience this week and am looking forward to see everybody come together to celebrate as a family (until they get canned).

Cons

Environment has been very poor since 2019. I know many have already started looking for a job elsewhere. Common phrases I have been hearing lately are things such as " I am just going to keep my head down". I am hoping it will get better once they get rid of more dead weight.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. It is always helpful to have individual perspectives, even if it is not a positive reflection on us. That said, it is unfortunate that your review was full of inaccuracies. We would hope that if you truly believe your statements have basis (which I can confirm is not the case) that you will be professionally responsible to speak to either HR or a member of senior leadership. That’s the culture we work so hard to maintain. It is easy to complain. We expect our employees to be part of the solution by speaking with their manager, senior leader, or HR. Complaining without taking action only creates toxicity. We need employees who are dedicated to our mission and serious about what we do, and that may not be right for everyone. If it is not a good fit, we will help to transition those who want other career opportunities.

Pros

A noble mission, great healthcare benefits, Some amazing coworkers

Cons

No work/life balance - you are expected to work as long as it takes (50-60 hours min a week) and it is only 'temporary' even when it has been happening for years, salaries that lag far behind the competition, constantly being asked to sacrifice your financial future in the form of no raise or minimal yearly raises and frequently no bonus or reduced bonuses with no ability to recover those losses later on, No stock options, unreasonable expectations for those in support given the staffing shortages and lack of pay, undo pressure - such as our VP suggesting a baby died because of an issue with our application and was due to us not being able to answer the phone quick enough, If you weren't 100% in , had a different opinion, or agreeable to all changes then you were considered a traitor and were targeted for retaliation

Good teams, bad owner

Pros

- Good people - Strong mission

Cons

Owner believes employees should be so grateful for having fully paid healthcare and working for a mission-based company that asking for other benefits (like more pay, or working from home) is unnecessary. Literally said in several meetings that people who don't like the company can "vote with their feet," and that makes it very difficult to compete for top talent with other companies. It's a software company, and should behave like one, but the ownership doesn't want to compensate employees--which, in turn, reduces the strength of the product. It's a shame, because helping hospitals move patients more efficiently is a valuable offer. In addition, when we wanted to have a presence at Pride, we were told that the DE&I committee was supposed to identify "blind spots"--and suggested that LGBTQIA+ was not a blind spot because we have LGBTQIA+ employees.
