- Sadly a management culture of mistrust and bullying exists at Tate. Dignity and Respect policy does nothing to actually tackle the issue only ticks boxes for management.
- Often overworked, micro-managed and staff concerns ignored.
- High turnover of staff.
- Very poor pay in comparison to comparable jobs in the culture sector. With 4 years of pay freezes, pay has fallen 20% in real terms. No recognition for dedicated staff, low team moral and virtually no career opportunities.
